一、考試范圍

初中三年所學內容(以人教版新目標Go For It為綱，詞匯量及難度相當于中考)。

二、考試內容及要求

1. 能理解或掌握初中英語基礎語法，并能在一定的語言環境中應用。

2. 能讀懂有關生活話題的并含有一定量生詞（10%左右）的文字材料（如：公告、說明、廣告等）及書報雜志中關于一般性話題的短文。能根據上下文推斷生字的詞義，理解語篇大意，獲取有關信息，并能對文章作一般性的推理和分析。

3. 能正確拼寫和運用所學單詞。

4. 能在有各種形式提示的情況下寫出150個詞左右的各種形式的文字材料，要求主題鮮明，語言正確，行文流暢，書寫規范。考試要求分三個層次，從低到高依次為識記、理解和運用，分別以字母A、B和C表示。其含義表述如下：

1. 識記（A級）

對知識的記憶和識別。如：

(1) 記住已學常用單詞、詞組的拼寫和其基本含義;

(2) 記住初中英語中相關語法結構的用法。

2. 理解（B級）

對知識的領會、理解和遷移。如：

(1) 理解單詞、詞組在英語句子及短文中的確切含義；

(2) 理解常用習語在不同語言環境中的確切含義；

(3) 理解在語言交流活動中的文化特征；

(4) 理解所讀語言材料的表層含義。

3. 運用（C級）

能運用所學的語言知識解決問題，并能進行有效的語言交際活動。如：

(1) 能聽懂說話者的要求，并根據指令完成某項任務；

(2) 能較熟練地運用所學的日常交際用語，能運用一定的交際策略避免交際活動的失敗；

(3) 能理解所讀語言材料的主旨和深層含義；

(4) 能在不同的語言材料中綜合運用所學的詞匯和語法知識；

(5) 能根據特定的語言環境和所給的信息（如照片、圖畫、表格、文字提示等）完成某些交際活動。

三、考試方式和試卷結構

1. 考試方式

(1) 考試采用閉卷、書面筆答方式。試卷稱“杭州第四中學（國際部）招生考試”。試卷由試題卷和答題紙兩部分組成。考生必須根據各題型的具體要求，正確填涂答題紙和在答題紙的相應位置用藍黑鋼筆或圓珠筆書寫答案；

(2) 本試卷不進行聽力考試；

(3) 整卷滿分220分，考試時間為120分鐘。

2. 試卷結構

(1) 試題卷中選擇題和非選擇題相結合，選擇題占 160 分， 非選擇題占60 分。

When I was a kid in Minnesota, watermelon was expensive. One of my father’s friends, Bernie, was a rich businessman, who owned a large store in St. Paul.
